Bob and Mary Bain
Dear all,
George and I are so pleased that my ex-pastors from the UK, Bob and Mary Bain will be coming to Singapore for a week’s visit, during which they will be ministering at various places. I was greatly by them during my time as a student in Canterbury, UK and I love the way they bring up their SEVEN children (!), love their church (and a big group of finicky tertiary students), and role model their lives as parents, leaders and spouses to us.
Since George and I are so pro-marriage and pro-family (meaning that we do love how God instituted marriage and family as pillars of society, and these pillars should be nurtured well), we would like to invite you to the following if you’re free :
Relationship and Marriage Seminar
This is open to all singles and couples! Come listen to how you should grow relationships with each other in a healthy, biblical way. It is a cosy, and informal setting. Do sign up with Petra Church by Dec 5th 2009 (Sunday) or if you’re not in Petra, email me, Dawn, by the date. Limited number of participants only!

Bob and Mary Bain have worked in Higher Education ministry for many years. Since last year they have been developing the Welcome Network, in London and elsewhere. The Welcome Network is about showing God’s love to people from every nation and cultural background by creating friendly gatherings called Welcome Places.
They are interested in partnering with churches who want to reach out to internationals, or who desire to transition their church to be intentionally multicultural. They are able to offer practical help and advice and lead sessions in using English conversation as a way of showing friendship. Alongside of this they offer teaching and ministry in the prophetic, healing, leadership skills, relationships and other topics.
They are also involved in taking teams on short-term Missions, using the tool of English conversation to bring different cultures together and learn more about God’s love.
Welcome Network is affiliated to Churches in Communities International.
